She was the only person in either race I'd vote for. Now being stuck with Biden and Trump I'll have to write-in Mickey Mouse. The Democrats have lost all touch with reality and don't care about anything except identity politics, and I can't vote for Trump on principle after his sore loser "stolen election" bs.

Rfk jr would be better than Biden, Trump, or mickey mouse. Watch some of his interviews, bet he's up your alley

RFK is Wack Job! Haley would be better. Or Liz Chaney - too has she's not running.,

100%. I'm going to either have to write someone in, or vote for a 3rd party candidate.

I'm still hoping someone sane like Haley will end up on some 3rd party ballot, like the Libertarian party or something

I’m planning to write her in.

It's not BS. Do your homework before you opine.

Um, yes. yes it is b.s. Do *your* homework. Every court case regarding election fraud Trump lost. Even where Trump appointed the judge. Trump is a fraud and a *really* sore loser.

Well, we'll have plenty of time to argue the point, won't we, because he's going to be your president, and you can count on a thorough investigation of the 2020 Steal. A real one. An honest one. He may "be too busy for retribution," but a new Justice Department, I'm sure, will find the time.

62 lawsuits, 61 failed. The only one that didn’t was one In Pennsylvania that got a few people to show their IDs. A majority of the judges on the cases were republicans, a lot of them were trump appointed.

Do. Your. Homework. Under what standard did they "fail?" Lack of standing, including a lawsuit in which one set of states sued another. What is the primary duty of the Supreme Court? I'll give you a leg up: Adjudicating Disputes Between States.

The question is, why did they not do that? Some less generous than I suggest that these courts did what they did because they did NOT want the evidence in the public record, which is to say, permanently, and like the school sissy who hopes to appease the school bully, it never works. It is possible that the Supreme Court was a) protecting itself, or b) did not want to open a can of worms that would possibly split the nation apart - however, that never works, either. Bad decisions never go away: Roe v. Wade case in point.

The first and obvious level is NEVER the answer. Do. Your. Homework. Then opine.

you're really delusional, you know that right?

When the name-calling and ad hominem starts, that's prima facie evidence the speaker knows he's lost the argument. Next.

They didn’t do it because he lost, get it through your head. Lose like a man, not a childish poor sport.

It's like your mother told you: if you cheated to win, you didn't win. Whether you threw a spitball in a game or in a vote count shooed-out opposition observers, simultaneously and in a coordinated fashion closing the count across a nation and then dragging out suitcases of ballots ON CAMERA, you didn't win.

Alleged President Joe Stolen didn't win; he's not the president. The pathetic ones, though, are not Senility Joe et al; they are the bitter clingers who refuse to see what's known the world over.

The only way not to know what happened in 2020 is not, "not want to know." There is so much evidence (actually not evidence; calling it evidence is weak) - proof, that it takes voluntary, aggressive action to avoid it. Call it willful ignorance.

Do. Your. Homework. Look at what is in front of your eyes - everywhere. Everywhere. Everywhere. Then opine.

This is the only time in my lifetime so far, and probably ever, that a 3rd party candidate has a real chance at winning. A majority of people dislike both Trump and Biden. Haley should lead the Libertarian ticket and I honestly believe she could win a national election. Why can't people see that this is a unique, once in a lifetime opportunity for a 3rd party candidate?

Expand full comment

Oh I like that. I wonder who she would take more votes from. Anyone old enough to remember Ross Perot will recall that his 3rd party bid is why Clinton won over Bush. So, the Republican party machine will work against that, I would imagine.

I have a narrative in my mind. Nikki's campaign was not really for 2024. It is for 2028. Whoever wins this election, it will be their last term. So, I think Nikki staying, and her people supporting her, lays the groundwork for 2028.

All the polls say the majority does not want a Biden/Trump rematch. If our electoral process for nominating candidates to run for office is representative, why is that what we’ve got? The majority of the country are not registered in either party.

Expand full comment

That is a very good question. I suppose the sad reality is that we don't have representative government anymore - but whose fault is that. I will beat this drum - if you want better people at the national level, vote in your local elections. Yes, you are playing the long game. But it says something about the man who will plant a tree knowing he will never enjoy its shade.

Yes and teach kids civics and how to have a civil debate - may be an even longer game - but it is also really fun to see their eyes light up at the prospect that they can make a difference.

She wanted to fill up her bank account with a few million but had to put on a good show. The financers went along because they are grasping at anything they can to try to keep Trump out because they can run their scams with him in the way.

It wasn't a race at all. She had democrats crossing over and helping her along. She seems to be a good person, but how did she accumulate so much wealth after her role in Government? When the average voter stays home because they don't have the time or stewardship to invest in our country, let the buyer then beware. What's another 4 years... 16 million illegals? Haley is a swamp creature. The sane course of action is not participating at all in the election. The illegitimate regime will steal it anyway. Reject participation in the farce. Boycott.

Thank you for your response. Having given some thought to this process. This unfolding debacle, this slow motion train wreck that is our Republic I'm resolute in my decision to step off of the train and risk the lumps.

It is interesting that a guy who was a personality for decades, was one of Oprah's favorite guests, was given the nickname: The Donald by fawning press, was a friend of Barbara Walters, was a guest at Chelsea Clinton's wedding, was in multiple movie cameos and was often hailed by black rappers as being some sort of boss has now become the epitome of evil. I have no quarrel with Haley. But this has never been about her.

Trump broke ranks with the power-elite. For that sin alone, he, his supporters and the entire United States must be punished...

Even fucking Yahweh wasn't this vindictive...
