I absolutely love Israelis. When the Ukraine war began, i noticed that many of my colleagues had Ukrainian accents in English. I mean Islamic end times prophecies say they will genocide the Jews, and Christian end times prophecies say the Jews will be attacked in a genocidal way. So if you believe in either religion, you believe that an end times coalition of nations will all attack Israel. Israel will start to rebuild the Holy Temple and then be conquered and the Abomination of Desolation will be set up in the Temple. Its really not good but also its God’s Word which I believe, and Christ is the only salvation and messiah for any of us, especially Jews, who are God’s chosen people but also (or maybe for that reason) the most hated people on earth.
Not true. Christian eschatology is not that. Lots of disagreement on this topic. However, Jesus Christ will return again and judge all humans and then destroy this earth and form a new one. King Jesus was the seed of Abraham and David. There is no Mahdi. Israel, the new Israel, is a spiritual kingdom. Jesus is the King of Peace, not war.

Are there many Christians in London? I have a feeling it’s not the Christians that are anti-Semitic. Am I wrong here? I mean after all, it’s Judeo-Christian values I live by. True Christians view Jews as close cousins. Jesus was Jewish. So were all the authors of the Holy Scriptures, both the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Apostle to the Gentiles, Saul of Tarsus, Paul, was a Pharisee.

I have read several dozen of the book series British Library Crime Classics, which reprint novels/stories by 1930s/40s mystery writers. The works are peppered with casually-offered references to Jews, more-or-less derogatory in nature. And recently published histories of England during the period show that much of the aristocracy was Pro-German, most notably, the abdicated King Edward. Would rank-and-file Brits have fought for the Jews? I am not so sure...

My favorite hotel in Israel is the Dan Akkadia, in Herziliya Beach, named after the chief Zionist Teador Herzl from Austria.
